What is a neuroma?
A neuroma is a painful condition often described as a pinched or swollen nerve. More specifically, it's a non-cancerous thickening of nerve tissue, most often found between the third and fourth toes.
It can cause pain, burning, tingling or numbness between the toes and in the ball of the foot. Many people say it feels like standing on a pebble or a fold in their sock.
